GEMA has a strong presence within the MBA program at the McDonough School of Business. Consisting of both Full-Time and Part-Time students, the club focuses on preparing members to obtain and succeed in positions within the Entertainment and Media field. This goal is achieved through networking, conference attendance, and case competitions both in DC and around the country.
GEMA members recently attended the Inaugural Media & Entertainment Case Competition held at UCLA and sponsored by Paramount Pictures. The event featured a panel of speakers from the Entertainment world as well as the featured competition. The team of Baruch Spier, Aaron Weintraub, David Pascual, and Betsy Block finished in the top 6!
GEMA MBA members will also be attending the MBA Media and Entertainment Conference on Friday, April 3rd at Columbia University.
